1. Good elasticity
Polyester fabric has high strength and elastic recovery ability, and its elasticity is close to that of wool. When the elongation is 5% to 6%, it can almost completely recover. The wrinkle resistance is higher than other fibers, that is, the fabric does not wrinkle, the dimensional stability is good, and the elasticity is 2 to 3 times higher than that of nylon. The bags made of polyester fabrics are firm and durable, wrinkle-resistant and iron-free.
2. Good corrosion resistance
Polyester fabrics are resistant to bleaches, oxidants, hydrocarbons, ketones, petroleum products and inorganic acids. Dilute alkali resistance, not afraid of mildew, but hot alkali can make it decompose. It also has strong acid and alkali resistance and UV resistance. Therefore, the finished backpack made of polyester fabric has better corrosion resistance.
3. Poor hygroscopicity
The hygroscopicity of polyester is weaker than that of nylon, so the air permeability is not as good as that of nylon, but polyester is very easy to dry after washing, and the fabric strength hardly decreases, so it is not easy to deform and has good wrinkle resistance.
4. Good wear resistance
The wear resistance of polyester is very good. Its wear resistance is second only to nylon, and it is better than other natural fibers and synthetic fibers. If the backpack is used normally, it will not be deformed, faded, or damaged.
